Finding a resource

The Resources page includes over 200 lesson plans and student activities, each mapped to curriculum subjects and year groups.

Finding a resource

You can filter resources by:

  • Year groups (Year 7 to Year 13)
  • Related subjects (Art and Design, Biology, etc)
  • Curriculum frameworks (Gatsby benchmarks and PSHE)

Using a resource

Every resource includes Teacher notes with information about the lesson plan or student activity.

Using a resource

Lesson plans are designed to be used by teachers in a classroom setting. Each lesson plan includes:

  • Learning objectives. What students should get out of the lesson.
  • Before the lesson. What you need to prepare in advance.
  • During the lesson. The lesson plan broken into suggested steps.
  • After the lesson. Follow-up work and ways to extend the discussion.

Student activities are designed to be used by students on their own or in a group. Each activity includes:

  • Before you start. A question to think about alone or with a partner.
  • Watch the video. The video or videos at the centre of the activity.
  • Reflect and discuss. A reflection to add, followed by discussion questions.

Sharing a resource

If you're signed in to your account, the following options are available:

  • Print guide. Prints the resource, so you can take it into the classroom on paper.
  • Copy content. Copies the resource to your clipboard, ready to paste into slides, a worksheet, or Microsoft Teams.
  • Send feedback. Sends an email with your feedback. Tell us what worked, what didn't, and what you'd like to see.
